Mapsia Terms of Use: Read Terms of Use

Mapsia ("the app") is published by Giorgi Chachibaia ("I", "me", "my"). This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect information when you use the app.

Information I Collect

• Email address (for account access or support).
• Username (if you choose one when creating an account).
• User-uploaded photos that you choose to upload to the map.

How I Use Information

• Provide app functionality (account access and displaying map content).
• Maintain and improve the service.
• Respond to support requests and feedback you send.

Sharing

I do not sell your personal information. I only share information when needed to provide the service (for example, hosting providers) or comply with the law.

Public Content

Toilet locations, ratings, comments, and photos you submit may be visible to other users on the map after moderation. Photos are generally of public facilities; they are not intended to identify you personally.

Community behavior and moderation standards are described in the Terms of Use.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app at any time: open the account menu while signed in, choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap OK. You do not need to email me to delete your account.

When you delete your account:

• Removed: your sign-in credentials, email, profile (including username and points), and your name on feedback you sent while signed in.
• Anonymized: your username is removed from toilet submissions and published map entries you created. Other users will no longer see your name on those entries (the app may show a generic label such as "Someone nearby").

Data Retention

I retain account information while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal account data is removed as described above. Public map content may be kept in anonymized form. I may retain limited information longer if required by law.

Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

Mapsia is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me and I will delete it.

Your Choices

You can delete your account in the app as described above. For other questions about your data, contact me using the email below.
